COMMUNITY
Giving back to the community has always been important to me. Donating and doing volunteer work has long been part of life, and I have brought bead making into that work as well. I have donated my jewelry for fundraising auctions to support charities such as Toys4TreePose (charity to provide toys for children); Heart to Heart (a camp bringing together Israeli and Palestinian youth to promote peace and understanding); Autumn Colours (fundraising for Markville Seniors Residence).

I also make and donate jewelry for residents of two women’s shelters: The Yellow Brick House and Yorktown Family Services. My goal is to make sure that every woman in these shelters has something of beauty, made specifically for her.
In addition to these recurring projects, I have provided beads for crafting to the Markham Seniors Centre.
